Hastenbeck 1757, the fourth game in the "SYWBS" series, simulates the battle fought on the 26th of July 1757 in Lower Saxony (Hanover) during the Seven Years War. Louis Charles César Le Tellier, maréchal d'Estrées commanded the French Army, with contingents from Palatinate and Austria: 63,300 men (86 bns, 101 sqns) and 76 guns. Prince William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland commanded the Allied Army made up of troops from Hanover, Hesse, Brunswick and Bückeburg: 38,400 men (52 bns, 47 sqns) and 34 guns.

The French order of battle included in this game is the most complete and detailed ever published.

This edition comes with a booklet (44 pages) of V4.0 of the SYWBS rules, as well as a booklet (32 pages) of the "Simple" rules.
